Featuring Josh Tanner

Debut at Anthology, 2/28/09

The official debut of Thunder Road happened on Saturday, February 28 at two sell-out shows at San Diego's fantastic Anthology (Anthology's Website).  Check our feedback page to see what the fans are saying!

Return to Anthology, 6/13/09

Thunder Road returned for two sold out shows at Anthology on Sat. June 13, playing a mix of regular Springsteen favorites and new additions including Brilliant Disguise, Radio Nowhere, The Rising, The Promised Land, Raise Your Hand and the daunting Jungleland.  The energy in the house was amazing.  Look for TR to return to Anthology in October!

PB Concerts on the Green, 8/16/09

A tremendous time was had by all at the TR show at PB Concerts on the Green on Sunday August 16.  The weather was perfect.  The views of Mission Bay spectacular.  And what a great group of Springsteen fans, both veterans and converts.  We saw lots of people singing along with every song.  Hope to see you all there again next summer!  Check out the photos from the show on our photos page or go to www.pbconcerts.org and view all of the photos and some video clips from the show.  Who knows, you may be in there!

Thunder Road at Pala Casino, 9/26/09

TR fans, old and new, were treated to a surprise at the Pala show, when they had the opportunity to see the band fronted by Josh Tanner.  Josh has the looks and the chops of an authentic 1970's version of Bruce, and he brought the goods to this one.  TR looks forward to a repeat engagement at Pala in the next few months - we'll keep ya posted.

TR back at Anthology, 1/23/10

Thanks to all the fans who came out for the sold out first show and nearly sold out second.  It was a magical night!   TR looks forward to seeing you all again at this great venue later in the year!

Pala Casino, 3/6/10

People braved the weather for the return engagement of Thunder Road at the fantastic Pala Casino!  The house was rockin' all night long, and we look forward to a return trip to Pala sometime later this year.

Belly Up Tavern, 4/16/10

It was a truly magical night at the Belly Up, with Thunder Road headlining, following a solid performance by our friends, Fleetwood Maxx.  The folks that skipped Coachella in favor of the Boss got it right!

Anthology, 6/26/10

Josh and the boyz were thrilled to be back at Anthology for two shows on June 26.  Show goers were treated to the debut of "She's The One" and a taste of "Backstreets," which are both bound to find their way into future shows.

Trolley Square in Santee, 7/22/10

Thunder Road made its East County debut to a fantastic crowd at the amphitheatre at Trolley Square in Santee.  Thanks to Barona and its sponsorship and a special nod to Bill Noble and his crew for their fantastic work on the sound board.  This truly proves that the appeal of the music and vibe of the Boss is universal, appealing to the young and adult crowds, with a little something for everybody.  We hope for a return engagement next year!

Carmel Mountain Plaza, 6/13/10

Nothing better on a warm, laid back Friday the 13th than to play Springsteen tunes to a fantastic group of folks at Carmel Mountain Plaza.  Check out the comments from one of the crowd on our "Fan Feedback" page!
